The People
Edd Stockwell
Edd Stockwell is an ex-Corporate Financier who has been founding,
running and selling companies since 1998. Specialising in the
media sector first in a finance role and then as a marketing consultant
he has consistently thought around problems and provided practical
solutions to business questions. Edd takes the helicopter view;
he steps back and considers the macro picture and outside market
forces on any particular sector. With his analytical brain and
financial models Edd provides the level-headed 3rd party roles
so often underprovided within start-ups.
Charles Cadbury
10 years the salesman. Although his mother would say that when
he wheeled the barrow of apples round all the neighbours aged
8 he had found his vocation, which would throw another decade
onto the aforementioned figure. In the more cut-throat corporate
world (away from apple sales) Charles cut his teeth selling large
volumes of IT hardware (Cisco, 3com and HP/Compaq) end to end
IT solutions to universities and Education authorities, at European
Electronique. He developed a solid grounding in the technical
sale.
He drives the “no obstacles” sales and marketing
approach to any new project digging business out of any hard to
reach crevice and maintaining strong relationships with all his
business and personal contacts.Never one to pass up a beer, Charles
is a serial networker and instinctive entrepreneur.
Chris Hodgson
Chris Hodgson joined Stockbury in September 2006. With an engineering
degree under his belt Chris travelled extensively working in hospitality
management and almost became a professional extreme skier in 2004.
On his return to the UK, he worked in one of the most competitive,
cut-throat sales environments for 2 years before approaching Stockbury.
Chris brings onboard a combination of highly motivated sales and
analytical thinking which tied to his attention to detail and
documentation really gets the business nailed down and the work
done.
The strengths and flexibility of our combined team alongside our
external network of contacts is what gives Stockbury its USP.
